LAKE ERIE FISHING CHARTERS
Lake Erie is the walleye capitol of the world. Mark 1 Sport Fishing offers both trolling and drift casting approaches to fishing Lake Erie. Try your hand at reeling in a trophy-class fish, including walleye, steelhead, perch, smallmouth bass, and white bass.

Our season begins in April and runs through early December. Some of the best walleye action occurs between April and the end of July. November through early December can also produce trophies.
Mark 1 Sportfishing is a teaching charter. We want you involved in the experience as much as possible. We have found that if you are learning the process and are involved in the process that our customers are having so much more fun and walk off of our boats with pride.
Our goal is to keep our guests having fun while being comfortable out on the water. During the harsher conditions of November and December, our cabins are heated, allowing us to pursue trophy fish when fishing is best late in the season.

LAKE ERIE FISH SPECIES OF INTEREST
WALLEYE
We drift fish and troll depending on the time of year. Walleye trips are available every day, from April to December.
YELLOW PERCH
Yellow perch are tasty and plentiful in Lake Erie. Perch fishing trips are available from late July to October.
SMALLMOUTH BASS
Smallmouth bass are gamest fish that swims! Lake Erie bass trips are available from July to October.
STEELHEAD
Northern Ohio is known as steelhead alley. To request a trip, please call us for more information.
